Comfortable the first time on. Soft leather and good arch. Built in pulls much better than strap pulls.

Looking after the leather is just standard polishing & care. any Nubuck will eventually pick up some marks with extended wear so either polish it to start off or just buy the glossy leather option.

Solid work shoe for the construction site - I purchased these about a year ago specifically for work at a construction site. I was a volunteer with no trade skills. I preferred the flexibility of a shoe versus a boot for the kind of activity at this site. In the past year, these shoes have shown remarkable resiliency to a number of challenging situations: rainy days where the mud wanted to suck the shoes right off my feet; rocky terrain with loose gravel over steep grades; tight areas where balance was needed to avoid dangerous falls; and the list could go on and on.
