Shoes are as advertised and fit as sized. I was a little
disappointed with the insoles as they are not as good as other
Timberlands I have owned in the past. Zappos has the best
customer service of any company I have dealt with on or off the
internet. Buy with confidence.

An excellent quality boot. I prefer 8" boots, and I am
required to wear steel toe for work, and once I saw a
Timberland in this style, I had to buy it. They resemble combat
boots I wore in the Marine Corps which is what drew me to them,
but they are great against cold weather, and yes, they are very
comfortable. On the tongue it is marked "waterproof" and yes,
they are waterproof. I am a garbage man and they withstand the
trials and tribulation of such work, the waterproof of which I
find a must have. You will not regret this as a purchase.

I was quite surprised and disappointed to find out how
incredibly uncomfortable these boots are. Poor inserts. Minimal
cushion. The boot looks fine and the sole is tough as nails,
but this boot will lay a beating on your heel, ankles and toes.
After several years of use, I wore out my wolverines. They were
great,never a blister and confortable all day. After several
long days with these Timberland Pro Pit Bosses, I have blisters
on both big toes and both little toes, as well as abrasions on
inside of both ankles, and incredibly sore heels. What can I
say, if you like pain, buy these boots. As for myself, I will
be buying another trusty pair of wolverines and throwing these
away!

Bear with them - All the other reviews are true, break in
can be a bit uncomfortable, but it was a rather short time.
Since they've broken in the comfort is unbelievable. To the
point that I will buy another pair just for chores at home.
